Shipping from China to Ireland: what it actually costs.

Every destination has its own arithmetic. This page is the IE version: the freight we charge today, the threshold that decides whether tax is due, and the paperwork that keeps a parcel moving.

Freight to IE

Air express, door to door, billed on the packed weight. Rates include handling; the service fee is separate and shown on the fees page.

Packed weight	Air express	Transit
0.5 kg	US$4.51	8–12 days
1 kg	US$9.02	8–12 days
2 kg	US$18.04	8–12 days
5 kg	US$45.10	8–12 days
10 kg	US$90.20	8–12 days

Sea consolidation costs about a third of air on parcels above 20 kg, with 30–45 days transit.

Customs

Threshold. €150 — duty above; VAT always. Goods from the UK may also attract origin rules.

Tax. VAT 23%.

Our position. We declare the real value, every time. Under-declaring is fraud, and a seized parcel costs more than the tax saved.

What we check before it leaves Guangzhou

Every parcel is opened, counted, weighed and photographed. For IE we also check: Revenue checks invoices closely; keep the commercial invoice with the parcel.
