How do I buy from Taobao outside China?

Taobao will not take an order from a foreign card or ship to a foreign address. The workaround is an agent: you send the product link, the agent buys in their own name in RMB, receives the parcel at a Chinese warehouse, checks it, and forwards it internationally.
