How do you check an item before shipping it?

Every parcel is opened on our Guangzhou floor. We count the pieces against the order, check size, colour and model, look for damage or missing accessories, and photograph the item as it arrived. For electronics we power the device on where a charger is available, check the screen and ports, and confirm the model number matches the listing. For clothing we check the label, the measurements and the stitching at the seams. For anything with a serial number, we photograph it. The photos go to you before the parcel is sealed. If something is wrong, you decide: return it to the seller in China (cheap and fast), exchange it, or ship it anyway with the fault documented. We never quietly ship a damaged item.
